Our Vision
St. Luke’s have a vision.
To help us to fulfil our vision we have established the following three aims that we are guided by and strive to follow at all times:
Love
- Loving God; keeping worship at the heart
- Loving our community; turning our church buildings into community hubs where people can gather together
- Loving our world; committing wholeheartedly to the fifth mark of mission “strive to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the earth”
Grow
- Creating a strong discipleship culture
- Discerning gifts in the church family and beyond
- Recognising those with the gifts of leadership, pioneering and church planting
Serve
- Discipleship with clear stepping stones for increasing commitment and active service
- Using the buildings we own as a blessing to our community
- Participating fully in the life of the South West Chelmsford Churches Mission and Ministry Unit, Deanery and Diocese
- Being intentional about church planting
